Visual Storytelling Videography Skill building lesson, No Prep! Phonevideography

This is a powerful lesson I taught in high school to get students acquainted to effective visual storytelling techniques. I created a suspenseful short video about the importance of meeting assignment due dates. I highlight robust camera shots and angles as well as cinematic motion shots to show students how a topic can be visualized. The video I made was entirely done on my iPhone 8. In this no-prep resource you will get: Tons of frontloading project ideas your students can do on their phone to introduce them to camera shots and angles as well as cinematic motion shots. My video example Assignment instructions to re-recreate my video to practice camera movements. Music files for students videos. Online video editing tool unless you are using one that’s already installed on your school’s computers.
